MARTIN

Martin had waited anxiously for this day.  His eyes were closed and his fingers crossed.  He wanted with all his heart to be in the Christmas pageant.  And then he heard the words.... "and Martin will be the king carrying myrrh."  His eyes popped open with disbelief and a smile spread across his face.  Not only did he get a choice part, but his teacher wanted Merv, his pet frog, to have a part in the pageant, too!  His Mama would never believe this!
