GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER

George Washington Carver was a teacher, agriculture chemist, experimenter, researcher, artist, singer, organist, and humanitarian.  He took no patents, nor did he accept money for his work.  He turned down Thomas Edison's six-figure salary to stay at Tuskegee Institute.
